Sentences in Past Perfect
Past Perfect lets us create sentences that describe an action that
happened in the past before some other action. The Past Perfect uses the auxiliary verb "είχα" in front of the verb.
"Είχα" is the past continuous of the verb "έχω".

Did you notice in the above two examples that the second verb is translated as subjunctive mood of the past simple? Use the subjunctive mood of the Present Tense when the action is continuous. Use the subjunctive mood of the Past Tense when the action takes place once. Use the appropriate voice. Past Perfect with an Adjective or a Adverb.
